Well it seems there's going to be another charity album released this February... This time it's War Child's HeroesThe lineup is less cohesive than DWTN and I can't feel it being a great album although it might have some great and interesting covers one it.
The title track is David Bowie's Heroes covered by TV On The Radio (sounds more like a remix than a cover):
Elbow which put out a great album last year (The Seldom Seen Kid) cover U2's Running to Stand Still (sound a lot like the original):
Other interesting tracks from Beck (doing Dylan), Yeah Yeah Yeahs (covering The Ramones - Sheena is a Punk Rocker) and more...

Loved the Elbow version to "Running to Stand Still". You're right, it sounds very similar to U2's, but it's just different enough to make it special.
